Searching
Use the search box to quickly jump to a location. You can search using any of the following:
Archive Catalog ID
Full or partial address
Image ID (online imagery only)
Name (e.g., landmark name)
To search for a location:
Enter your search term in the search box.
If you are using a text-based search (e.g., address, name), and multiple results are available, possible matches are listed below the search box.
If a match is not available, you will see a "no data available" message. Check your entry for errors, or try generalizing your search to improve your results.
If 1234 Main San Francisco CA doesn't return results, try just San Francisco, CA.
Select an option from the list, or select ENTER on your keyboard to automatically go to the first location.
The viewport zooms to that location.
You must select ENTER when searching using parameters such as coordinate or grid entry, as these entries do not auto-complete.
You can search for one or more image IDs using the Search Results panel. If you search for an image ID and the image is found, an area is drawn around the image and it is added to the search results. Each found image is added as a separate area. Expand any area to view the image and its metadata.

You can also search for multiple image IDs at once to add each image ID as a separate area.
You can also search for catalog IDs/ image IDs within an existing area. Next to the area you want to search, select Area Filters
. In the Catalog ID field, enter one or more catalog IDs, separated by a comma. Select Update Filters. If the catalog ID(s) you entered are found within the selected area, the imagery results are filtered by those IDs.

Coordinate pairs (lat/long) can be separated by commas or a space.
