Deleting Areas

If you no longer need an area, you can delete it.

  1. Select Imagery . The Imagery panel opens.

  2. Next to the area you want to delete, select the menu menu, three vertical dots, then select Delete Area.

  3. A confirmation dialog asks you if you want to delete the area. To delete the area, select Delete Area. Otherwise, select Cancel.

    Deleting an area is permanent. You cannot recover a deleted area; if you want to use a deleted area again, you will need to recreate it.

More About Deleting Areas

  • When editing an area, to remove a completed—but unsaved—shape from the viewport, on the toolbar, select Remove Shape. Draw a new area or select Cancel.

  • Imagery results will not display until you draw or upload an area. If you delete all areas, the Imagery panel will prompt you to draw a new area. See Adding Areas and Importing Areas.
